Enterprise Performance & Risk is a web based learning experience designed to provide individuals with an understanding of the nature of risk irrespective of their role – whether board director, C-team member, senior management, risk manager, etc.
The objective is:
To teach you how to think about risk (and uncertainty) and how to apply the understanding and perspectives that you will learn, in your own enterprise and organisational performance context, whether it be government, multinational, SME, not-for profit, etc.
The perspective taken is that organizations are aware of and manage well or not so well, known risk. But, for the most part, they are blissfully unware (deliberately or not deliberately) of their internal risk profile, the consequence of management style, mindset, decisions and actions.
Management pressure has performance and risk consequences that are not immediate and obvious; there are interdependencies in complex systems that could result in very undesirable consequences in the future.
